Terms of Service
Last updated: September 5, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Worthy, the personal asset tracking app operated by Brett Ede (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Worthy, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Worthy helps you track personal assets by collecting purchase details from receipts you provide — including optional read-only Gmail scanning and email forwarding — and estimating current values. Features may change as we improve the product.
Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Worthy.
Google and Gmail
If you connect Gmail, you grant Worthy read-only access to scan for purchase and receipt messages. You can revoke access at any time in Worthy Settings or at Google Account permissions. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Your content
You retain ownership of assets, receipts, and photos you add. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide Worthy (storage, scanning, valuation displays, and related support).
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt others.
- Do not use Worthy to process data you are not allowed to share with us.
- Do not reverse engineer or abuse rate limits of our systems or providers.
Estimates and no financial advice
Values shown in Worthy are estimates for personal organization. They are not appraisals, insurance valuations, tax advice, or investment advice. Do not rely on them for legal or financial decisions without independent verification.
Availability
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features that depend on third parties (Google, email providers, app stores) may be unavailable when those services are.
Disclaimers
Worthy is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of Worthy.
Termination
You may stop using Worthy at any time. To delete your account and data, open Settings, tap your profile, then tap Delete Account. If you cannot sign in, email hi@brettt.com from your account address. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
